Dante's Italian Deli of River Edge was voted by readers as the best Italian Deli in the annual Best of Bergen Restaurant and Food Readers’ Choice Awards by Bergen Health and Life Magazine. Dante's tied for the number one spot with Italian Riviera in Waldwick, beating out Lotito's in Ramsey and Vitamia & Sons in Lodi.
Sanducci's Trattoria in River Edge came in second as readers' favorite Italian restaurant, behind Dimora Ristorante in Norwood, but beat out Andiamo in Haworth.
Great Foods Market in Oradell placed second in the 'Best Caterer' category, behind Market Basket in Franklin Lakes, but beat Annabella's Salumeria in East Rutherford.
Cool Beans International Coffee and Teas in Oradell was ranked third in the 'Best Coffee Shop' category, behind Sogno Coffee House in Westwood and Moon Doggie Coffee Roasters in Maywood.
Fuki Sushi of River Edge came in third for 'Best Sushi.' Matsu Sushi & Grill in Hillsdale came in first, followed by Ho-Ho-Kus Sushi Cafe.
Babylon, also of River Edge tied with Sear House in Closter for third place for the 'Prix Fix' category behind second place Giovanni's Restaurant in Elmwood Park and first place winner Ivy Inn of Hasbrouck Heights.
