A 15-year resident of River Edge and member of the borough's Green Team, my interest in the pursuit of living a reasonably sustainable life in suburbia has grown over time, inspired by those around me also consumed with composting, solar, green roofing, flex fuel, growing edibles and much more.

I had the privilege of having a book published, Grow Your Own Tree Hugger: 101 Activities to Teach Your Child How to Live Green. The most rewarding result of the ensuing book tour has been the enthusiasm of kids of all ages who inherently want to protect and nurture the resources of this Earth, willingly sharing amazing ideas that reach beyond Reduce, Reuse, Recycle....because kids understand that this really is the best planet out there!
