Blackhawks Win Big, Earn Championship Title
The U9-A squad, comprised of River Edge and Oradell youth recently won their championship title
The RiverDell Blackhawks U9-A girls were the A flight champions in their age group of the Northern Counties Soccer Association this Fall, with a record of 8-1-1 with the lone loss to Northern Valley and tying Ramapo Valley. The team in 10 games scored 28 goals, while allowing 15 and recording two shutouts. The squad is comprised of Ryan Berman, Lauren Cardone, Emily Danahy, Lauren Gillies, Elaina Grenz, Melissa Goldstein, Alexandra Iacolina, Riley McGovern, Lara McLaughlin, Erin Miceli, Hannah Model, Grace Oates, and Sarah Vanderbeck.
