River Edge Family Dental will be offering free oral cancer screenings today
For five hours today, dentists Marlen Martirossian and Jenny Chu of River Edge Family Dentaloffering free oral cancer screenings from 2 to 7pm at their office on Kinderkamack Road. The screenings are held as part of the office's efforts to bring awareness to Oral Cancer Awareness Month. Oral cancer is not a rare disease. Approximately 37,000 people will be diagnosed with oral cancer every year in the US. It kills one person every hour of every day, and over 100 new individuals will be diagnosed with it each day.
