Holiday Events KickOff in RiverDell Saturday
The holidays are just around the corner and River Dell will begin celebrating this weekend
With December just a day away, River Dell is already getting ready for the holidays and a myriad of monthly activities to celebrate Christmas and Hanukkah in town. The River Edge Recreation Commission will host a Holiday Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 1, 4pm at Borough Hall. Following Hurricane Sandy, the annual event was moved from Veteran's Memorial Park to Borough Hall. In case of inclement weather, the tree lighting will be held on Sunday, Dec. 2, 4pm. Residents of all ages are asked to gather in front of the Library at 3:45pm and walk and sing carols together down Tenney Avenue to the Borough Hall.
