Mitzvah Day Volunteers Clean Up Historic Site
Smiles all around amongst a little dirt
Several volunteers spent the day making sure to not remove good vegetation, hanging signs and digging holes at historic New Bridge Landing. And even though they got a little dirty during the time, each person kept a smile on their face while working hard. The UJA Federation of Northern New Jersey brought out their members and looked to make the 13th annual Mitzvah Day a success. Beginning with a warm welcome and some instructional pointers, the group of adults and children got to work. Some jobs were messy, but that is what some looked forward to.
