A Paramus man was critically injured Friday night when he was struck by a drunk driver after stopping to come to the aid of a second drunk driver who had crashed her car into a pole, authorities said. Gregory Komporlis, 30, of River Edge, was charged with second-degree assault by auto after striking Paramus resident Farbod Fallah, the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office said in a release. The incident occured around 2:15 a.m. Friday on Forest Avenue in Paramus. A woman, Rebecca Wright, 21, of Paramus, was driving a 2011 Volkswagen Jetta under the infuence of alcohol when she crashed into a utility pole, Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said in the release.
