Oradell Celebrates Holidays with Tree Lighting

Borough's annual tree lighting ceremony featured a special visit by Santa in spite of the rain

The borough of Oradell kicked off the holiday season last night with their annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. Families crowded into Schirra Park to listen to several girl scouts sing carols while the River Dell Marching Band and Color Guard performed. Traveling in from the North Pole was Santa, who hitched a ride on the Oradell Fire Department's antique fire truck. For the borough children, each received a candy cane from Santa prior to the end of the ceremony. Follow Patch on Facebook and Twitter or subscribe to our free daily newsletter.
