In 1949, Oradell Fire Department moved to its new firehouse on the corner of Kinderkamack Road and Center Street, across the street from Borough Hall. The building was renovated in 2004 to create additional space for the growing department. The department has two engines, a ladder truck and a squad truck. For water-related emergencies, it uses a scuba truck and two marine boats.
