Youngsters in the northern part of River Edge attend Roosevelt School for grades one through six. Roosevelt also accepts students who would typically attend Cherry Hill Elementary, if class sizes become too big there or the child moved into the district late in the school year. The school offers children a computer lab, library and two athletic fields to complement the educational instruction. Roosevelt School is led by Principal Anthony "Tony" Vouvalides.
