The Oradell Police Department, comprised of 20 officers patrol the streets of Oradell to keep its' residents safe. Officers are split between the Patrol and Detective divisions, and work in rotational shifts.

The Patrol Division responds to calls for assistance and are CPR and first-aid trained. Several of the Patrol Division officers work with school-age children in the D.A.R.E. program.

The Detective Bureau investigates major felonies and interviews victims, witnesses and potential suspects during their investigations. The Detective Bureau also supports the Patrol Division. Members of the Detective Bureau are available Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm and on-call at all other times.
