Led by the Christian Brothers and part of the Archdiocese of Newark, Bergen Catholic High School officially opened in September 1955. Bergen Catholic last expanded in 1989 to include a weight training facility for the Crusaders. Students also have access to a large library, student chapel, science laboratories, cafeteria, computer science laboratory and gymnasium. Several of the Crusaders athletic teams compete at the nearby Crusader Stadium.
