The Week Ahead in River Edge, Oradell: Mayor's Wellness Campaign Gets Going and More

River Edge:

The River Edge Mayor and Council will be holding a work session Monday at 7:30 p.m. in the council chambers of Borough Hall. 

The River Dell Board of Education will be meeting Monday at 8 p.m. in the River Dell High School Media Center. Click here to see a copy of the agenda. 

New Bridge Center School is hosting Back to School Night Monday. 
The Roosevelt School and Cherry Hill School will be hosting Back to School Night Tuesday. 

The River Edge Public Library is hosting Too Much Stuff: De-Clutter Your Home & Reclaim Your Life Wednesday at 1 p.m. Cluttered, disorganized homes make for overwhelmed, stressed people. Ready for a transformation? Ready to streamline your current home, or to downsize? Professional organizer, Pamela J. Macleod of Organized From A to Z will teach you easy, effective strategies for eliminating the excess from your entire home, getting organized and staying that way. Sponsored by Friends of the River Edge Library.

The River Edge Board of Education will be meeting on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in the Media Center at Cherry Hill School, 410 Bogert Road. Click here to see the agenda.

The River Edge Historic Preservation Committee will be meeting 8 p.m. Wednesday upstairs in Borough Hall. 

The Mayor's Wellness Campaign officially kicks off on Sept. 27. with River Edge resident, and fitness trainer and instructor, Eileen Tessalone, teaching FREE Friday Night Fit Club, fitness classes. The classes will be held every Friday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m at the New Bridge Center Project Room. Bring a mat, water & a towel. Must be 16 or older to sign up. In order to participate, you must bring a partner.

Oradell:

The Oradell Historic Committee will be meeting Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Borough Hall. 

The Oradell Mayor and Council will be meeting Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the council chambers of Borough Hall. 

The Oradell Public Library is hosting "The Flight of Gemma Hardy" - September 24 at 11:00 AM;"Great Falls of Paterson" - September 24 at 7:00 PM; "Going Down" - book signing  on September 30 at 7:00 PM; " Spanish 1 & 2" classes being offered to Oradell residents by the Friends of the Oradell Library from September 25 through November 13. 

The Oradell Recreation Committee is meeting Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
