Did Someone Help You During/After the Storm? Say Thank You on Patch

Recognize them for their generosity and care here on Patch.

Did someone let you crash on their couch? Cook you a warm meal? Take care of your dog? Shovel you out? Let you watch your favorite TV show while your cable was out? Give you a ride?

PetResqInc coordinator Robyn Urman sent the following via email to Patch:

"I would like to take the oppurtunity to send my extreme grattitude to some of the most awesome friends someone could ever ask for. Lois Robbins and Tracy Cullen who allowed me to borrow their husbands Danny and Jim. Without them my poor dogs would have frozen to death. Luckily, by not actually being their wife neither Jim OR Danny ever lost pateience with me and spent hours getting a generator to work. Danny even made several house calls because this stupid girl could NOT get the generator to work. I was brought hot coffee in the mornings and allowed to take hot showers too.... So here is a shout out to some great people may you be an example and inspiration to others on what "friends" are supposed to be...... LOVE YOU!"

Recognize the people that helped you after the Oct. 29 snow storm that knocked out power to the majority of the River Edge-Oradell area for several days.

Who helped you during the storm? While you probably already thanked them for their hospitality or help already, give them that extra recognition by publically recognizing them and their good deed on RiverDell Patch!
