Notable Author Speaking at River Dell Middle School
Wendy Mass makes literature come alive when she visits students to talk about her book, "Every Soul a Star."
Wendy Maas, author of Every Soul a Star, will be visiting River Dell Middle School on Tuesday, Sept. 24, to give a presentation to the students, followed by a workshop for approximately 25 students who were selected on the basis of an essay they wrote this summer. Mass's book, Every Soul a Star, was required summer reading for the middle school students.
Written in 2008 and published by Little, Brown & Co., Every Soul a Star tells the story of three teenagers whose lives intersect during an approaching solar eclipse. Each is trying to find their place in the universe amidst the changes they are experiencing in their lives.
