In the first annual Turkey Bowl at , the Crusaders (9-2) took an early lead over their Rt. 17 rivals (6-5) and never looked back to roll to a 58-36 win.

One week before the Non Public Group 4 final showdown with archrival Don Bosco Prep, head coach Nunzio Campanile let his starters take the field and they were rewarded for their efforts.

Junior Jon Germano threw a trio of touchdown passes and ran for another while sphomore Johnny Sebastian came in for the final two TD's after Germano bruised his shin.
