Bergen All-Stars Showcase Skills on Pitch Once More

Proceeds collected were donated toward the medical expenses of 17-month-old Gavin Scimeca

Soccer season officially came to an end for the boys of Bergen County as the best of the senior class took to the stadium field one final time in the Bergen County All-Star match.

Sponsored by the Bergen County Boys Soccer Coaches Association, all proceeds from the event were donated to the Scimeca family of River Vale for the medical expenses of 17-month-old Gavin.

Born in June, Gavin has Autosomal Recessive Polycystic Kidney Disease (ARPKD) and will need a $150,000 out-of-pocket kidney transplant at New York Presbyterian Hospital to survive.
