RiverDell Gets Out to Vote

Residents will be busy casting their ballot choices throughout the day

While the majority of local races on the ballot are uncontested in Oradell and River Edge today, residents still began slowly flocking to their polling locations.

Early this morning there were no lines heading into St. Joseph School in Oradell, while voters who were shifted to Borough Hall searched for parking on nearby sidestreets. The Regional School District is scheduled to have full days in session at both the high school and middle school, which also serve as polling locations. Some Oradell residents will be heading to different polling locations today as parts of the borough are still without power.

"Luckily mine didn't change," Cheryl Ziller of Oradell wrote on RiverDell Patch's Facebook. "And I was there at 7:15 am."
