Polling Locations Moved in Oradell, Remain in River Edge

With Tuesday's election vastly approaching, officials in Oradell have moved a handful of polling locations

Voters may not be thinking about next Tuesday's election just yet, but borough officials in Oradell have already made the decision to move several polling locations in advance.

"We are moving some of the polling locations to ensure everyone gets a chance to vote on Tuesday," Councilman Tony Meo wrote in an email to Patch. "These changes are for this election only - and these locations are set, even if the power situation restores."

Residents in District 1 will still report to St. Joseph School and District's 2 and 3 will again head to River Dell High School.

But District's 4 and 6 have been moved from the Senior/Veteran's Building to Borough Hall; District 5 voters will now go to River Dell High School instead of Bergen Catholic.

River Edge voters on the other hand will still cast their ballots at their usual polling locations.

"The machines are being delivered tomorrow," River Edge Borough Clerk Denise Dondiego said.

District 1 will be directed to River Dell Middle School. Districts 2 through 4 remain at Roosevelt Elementary and Districts 5 through 8 stay at Cherry Hill.
