2014 Oradell Dog and Cat License Renewal Deadline Is Fast Approaching

It's time to get your four-legged family member legally registered with the borough.

The Borough of Oradell has announced via its website that owners of dogs and cats have until Friday to obtain their pet licenses for 2014.

Those who miss the Jan. 31 deadline will have to pay a $5 per month late charge. Failure to license your dog or cat can result in a $5 to $50 fine.

There are no exceptions: All dogs and cats must be licensed even if your pet never leaves the house.  You must call the Board of Health at 201-261-8106 if your pet has died or is no longer living in Oradell.

Fees are:

  • Spayed/Neutered $10 per animal
  • Non-Spayed/Non-Neutered $15 per animal
Proof of inoculation must be provided with the license application.

Licensing is done by mail only. Send your check made out to Oradell Board of Health for the appropriate fee plus proof of documentation to the Oradell Board of Health, 355 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell N.J. 07649.

Every licensed pet in Oradell is entitled to receive one free voucher for a rabies inoculation in the Board of Health Office by Oradell Animal Hospital. Call the Board of Health for details.
