Outlet Fire Breaks Out at Charlie Brown's

The fire took place prior to the Steakhouse opening for the day

With an hour to go until  was expected to open its doors for the lunch crowd, members of the responded to an outlet fire that expanded into the walls.

Oradell Fire responded with two trucks and mutual aid to the was issued to handle traffic along Kinderkamack Road.

"The outlet fire spread into the walls, but we were able to use a CO extinguisher to put it out," Oradell Fire Chief William Van Riper said.

Units were on scene for a half-hour extinguishing the small fire. The will now set a date to inspect the Steakhouse, per the borough's procedure.
