Pedestrian Struck on Route 4 in River Edge
Accident investigation causes delays on area roads.
Authorities were investigating a pedestrian accident on Route 4 in River Edge late Wednesday, the state transportation department reported.
The right and center westbound lanes were closed near the Paramus border, causing heavy delays in the area. The incident was reported around 9:30 p.m. and investigators remained at the scene about an hour later.
