Girl Scout Gold Award Project "Care for Babies"

Girl Scout Gold Award Project: Two-Week Donation Drive for Pampers Diapers, Family Friendly Movies and Children's Books.

The goal of my Girl Scout Gold Award Project, "Care for Babies" is to supply the Mother-Baby Unit at St. Joseph’s Hospital Medical Center in Paterson, NJ with diapers and formula for families in need. These supplies will help parents care for their newborn baby when they leave the hospital.

In addition, I will be renovating the family waiting room in the Mother-Baby Unit so that expecting family members can be comfortable while they await the arrival of a new baby. I will be furnishing the room with a new sofa and providing books and DVDs for the room.

In that light, I will be hosting a 2-week donation drive for Pampers diapers, family-friendly DVD movies and children's books. Collection bins will be located outside the main office of River Dell High School from June 4th - June 15th. In addtion, I will have collection bins outside of my house at 458 Bergen Blvd. Oradell, NJ 07649.
