SPLASH Hackensack River Clean Up and Potluck BBQ!

SPLASH Hackensack River Clean Up and Potluck BBQ!

On Saturday, June 21st we are holding our annual SPLASH event.
The SPLASH event, sponsored by Toyota, is done annually in support of the National Waterkeeper Alliance. This SPLASH event hosted by Hackensack Riverkeeper is featuring a public clean-up to be held on the Hackensack River at Laurel Hill Park in Secaucus. We will be conducting this clean-up via CANOE and on foot!

Immediately following the cleanup (approximately 4PM) we will be hosting our world renowned Informal Potluck BBQ!! Hackensack Riverkeeper will be providing the hamburgers, veggie burgers and hot dogs! We are asking our volunteers to bring sides, their drinks, ANYTHING that can be grilled (almost anything...) and whatever else may be found at a BBQ. corn on the cob, shishkabobs, vegetables,  salad, chips or dessert, etc.!

Have some BBQ and enjoy free live music by Frantic!

If you stick around after the BBQ you are all more than welcome to watch the sunset over the Hackensack River with the Captain!
Please RSVP for both the cleanup and the BBQ and let us know what you will be bringing!
