This workshop focuses on acclimating the student with the fundamental principles of the Bu Chae, or kung fu fan. Bu chae is a traditional weapon in Asia, used as a concealed weapon by Chinese and Korean nobility, as well as the samurai. Due to its nature as a concealed weapon, Bu Chae is typically reserved for those on the instructor path. This workshop will give students the unique opportunity to learn the controls, basic application and short forms.
