Mansion's Mortgage Goes to Sale, Council Meets This Week
Here's a sneak peek of what's coming up in River Dell this week
MONDAY: The River Edge Mayor and Council have a 7pm work session and 8pm regular meeting. During the public meeting, the Council will welcome the newest REPD rookie Vincent Ariano of Dumont to the force.
TUESDAY: The Oradell Planning Board meets at 7:30pm to discuss a proposed cell tower ordinance and how it relates to the master plan.
WEDNESDAY: The River Edge Board of education has a 7:30pm at Roosevelt School.

THURSDAY: The River Dell Fall Sports Award Dinner will be held from 6pm to 9pm.
FRIDAY: CareOne is expected to officially purchase the Blauvelt Mansion's $3.9 million mortgage at 2pm during the Bergen County Sheriff's Office foreclosure sale in Hackensack.

The annual Oradell Tree Lighting will be held at Schirra Park at 7:30pm on Friday.
THE WEEKEND: Children ages 5 - 9 are welcome to come design
and decorate their own clay mask on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2pm at the River Edge Public Library. These can be used as unique holiday gifts for family or friends.
Musician and funnyman Matty Roxx arrives at Temple Avodat Shalom on Dec. 9, the second night of Hanukkah for "Hot Hot Hanukkah" with activities for children age 2-5 at 12pm and the concert following at 1pm.
Hot Hot Hanukkah is a 45-minute music filled celebration featuring a mix of classic and silly Hanukkah songs. Along wih live music and instruments, there will be bubbles, crafts and snacks available.
