Tutors and Grade Weighting Discussions Coming to Regional Board of Ed
Here's a sneak peek of what's coming up in River Dell this week
MONDAY: The River Edge Mayor and Council have a 7pm work session followed by an 8pm regular meeting. The River Dell Board of Ed meets at 8pm where several postponed items will be discussed including hiring two to three teachers in core subjects for student tutoring.
TUESDAY: This is the last day to register to vote for the November Election at the Borough Clerk's Office which will remain open until 9pm.
WEDNESDAY: The Oradell Board of Education meets at 7:30pm in the OPS media center. The River Edge Board of Ed will host a presentation on the 2012 NJASK Test results at 7:30 PM in the Cherry Hill School Library.

THURSDAY: The River Edge Planning Board meets at 8pm.
WEEKEND: The Annual Fall Thrift Sale will be held on Saturday, 9am to 2pm at the First Congregational Church of River Edge. There's something for everyone - clothing, children's toys, household items, jewelry, small appliances and more! As an added treat, stop at the Pumpkin Patch and pick up a pumpkin, pie or home made treat.

Bergen County Players second show of its 80th season opens with Neil Simon's "Fools". Set in Kulyenchikov, a mythical Ukrainian village of long ago whose residents all live under an evil 200-year-old curse of stupidity, this fairy tale for adults features vintage Simon schtick drawn upon his brilliant use of vaudeville, slapstick, puns and wordplay.
