Turkey Tradition Set for Next Saturday at St. Peter's

Annual turkey drive in River Edge returns next weekend

Next week, River Edge residents and volunteers will once again collect turkeys and non-perishable food donations in the St. Peter the Apostle parking lot on Fifth Avenue. Items can be dropped off on Nov. 17, 9am to 3pm.

This event has become a tradition at St. Peter’s as River Edge residents Sheridan and Dottie Ogden began collecting turkeys 14 years ago to benefit the Community FoodBank of New Jersey. This is the second year that St. Peter's has taken over the annual event.

"Your generosity has provided turkey dinners for thousands of our neighbors over the years and we are extremely grateful for your support," Pat Rice said.
