Tuesday in River Edge, Oradell: Library Programs, Council Meeting

The voter registration deadline for the special primary election is Tuesday, July 23, 2013. New Jersey's special primary election is for the office of U.S. Senate left vacant by the death of Congressman Senator Frank Lautenberg and will take place on Tuesday, August 13, 2013.

The River Edge Public Library is holding 'Musical Munchkins' for children ages 1 to 2 years old from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. This program introduces toddlers to music through instrument play, song, and movement. This program encourages individual creativity while also inviting children to participate with their caregivers and peers in group activities. 

The River Edge Library is also hosting a presentation of Who's in Rabbit's House, a humorous Masai folktale presented in the form of an interactive play. Various animals all try to help get the mysterious “Long One” out of rabbit’s house. Children in the audience are the voice of the mysterious creature causing trouble. This program is for children ages 3 to 9 and will be held from 1 p.m. to 1:40 p.m. 

River Edge's Municipal Court will be in session at 6 p.m. in the Public Safety Basement.

The Oradell Mayor and Council will be holding their regular meeting at 7 p.m. in the council chambers of Borough Hall. 

The Oradell Public Library will host their monthly morning book club, "The End of Your Life Book Club," by Will Schwalbe. The reading club begins at  11 a.m. 

The Oradell Public Library is also offering Tae Kwon Do for ages 3 to 5 at 10:30 a.m. Please register with library. 

The Senior Social Club will be held at 11 a.m. at the Senior Center. The Senior Center is locates at One Veterans Place located behind the Post Office in Oradell.
