River Edge kicked off its Independence Day celebration with Music in the Park Wednesday evening, followed by a parade on the Thursday--the Fourth of July.

The Bergen County Band Soul Finger, featuring River Edge resident Jeanie Mari, performed under the stars Wednesday evening.
