Regional Board of Ed Meeting Cancelled

Here's a sneak peek of what's coming up in River Dell this week

MONDAY: The River Dell Board of Education's 8pm meeting has been cancelled for tonight as the district opted to close due to the impending effects of Hurricane Sandy. Any school business and discussions on grade weighting changes will be held at a future date.

TUESDAY: This is the last day to apply by mail for a Mail-In ballot for the General (Presidential) Election. The application must be brought to the County Clerk's Office by 4pm today.

WEDNESDAY: Make sure to keep and eye out for and on your local trick-or-treaters today. Due to the recent spate of reported luring incidents, there will be an increased police prescence on the streets.

THURSDAY: The Planning Board has an 8pm work session in River Edge.

WEEKEND:  The River Dell Drama Club will perform its fall play "44 Plays for 44 Presidents" on Friday and Saturday at 7pm in the high school auditorium. The production is a chronological, biographical survey celebrating the comic, tragic and at-times surreal lives and legacies of American presidents from Washington-to-Obama.
