Legion Demolition Funding Up for a Vote This Week

Here's a sneak peek of what's coming up in River Dell this week

MONDAY: The River Edge Mayor and Council will meet at 7pm (work session) and 8pm (public meeting). During the evening the governing body is expected to vote on a funding ordinance for the demolition of the American Legion building.

TUESDAY: Habitat for Humanity of Bergen County is hosting its second annual Casino Night fundraiser at Seasons in Washington Township, 6:30pm to raise funds for its building projects including the one in Oradell.  

WEDNESDAY: The River Edge Board of Education has a 7:30pm meeting at Roosevelt School.

THURSDAY: Local job-seekers and networking group Neighbors Helping Neighbors will have its 7pm at the River Edge Library.

WEEKEND: The Oradell Kids Foundation is hosting its annual 5K Race/1 Mile Fun Run on Saturday with registration beginning at 9am. This year the organization will also be sponsoring a Health and Vendor Fair along Prospect Avenue.
