CVS and Hackensack University Hospital Form Clinical Partnership

Hackensack University Medical Center physicians will serve as medical directors of CVS/pharmacy walk-in medical clinics.

In a partnership with CVS, Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC) physicians will serve as medical directors for six CVS Minute Clinics. Minute Clinics offer patients walk-in services for common illnesses and wellness and prevention services, such as cholesterol, diabetes and blood pressure screening and monitoring.

Under this agreement, HUMC physicians will also refer patients to one another when additional care is needed that the Minute Clinic cannot provide to the patient.

In addition to this collaboration, the patient can give permission for the Minute Clinic to electronically share their medical history with HUMC locations in northeast New Jersey.
