Celebrate Valentine's Day in RiverDell

If Godiva chocolate and a weekend stay at a resort are out of your price range, here are some ideas for a nice, budget-friendly Valentine’s Day with your date.

Cook your own dinner with ingredients from Happy Carrot, Olympia, Great Foods, Kung Fung or the Oradell Food Market.And for dessert, pick up something sweet from Mr. Cupcakes, Art of Cake, Critchley's Candies,  RiteAid or CVS.

Have dinner at these local romantic hotspots like Fuki Sushi, Ocean Sushi, A Taste of Greece, Sanducci's, Dinallo's, Felice's or Babylon and then spend the evening together at the movies by heading out to the AMC movie theatres in Paramus or Ridgefield Park or visit Clearview Cinamas in Ridgewood, Tenafly, or Washington Township.

Don't forget the flowers by heading to Black Eyed Susies, Delford Flowers or River Dell Flowers. Roses are a Valentine's Day standard, but if your special sweetheart prefers something different and unique, throw in lilies, daisies or carnations to brighten the bouquet.
