A Christmas Carol and Nutcracker Performances are Coming This Week
Here's a sneak peek of what's coming up in River Dell this week
MONDAY: The River Dell Board of Education meets at 8pm to recognize outgoing Board members Roger Tashjian (Oradell) and Vito Acquafredda (River Edge). Tashjian opted to not run for reelection this fall and will be replaced by Patrick Gallagher while Acquafredda successfully ran for town council; his replacement will be chosen at a later date as the district interviews two candidates later that night. The district will also vote on adding six new courses to the 2013-14 school year.
TUESDAY: The Oradell Mayor and Council will have their final meeting of 2012 beginning with a 6pm work session and a regular public meeting to follow.
WEDNESDAY: The River Edge Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting has been cancelled due to a lack of agenda items.

THURSDAY: The Oradell Recreation Commission meets at 7:30pm.
THE WEEKEND: The Water Works Conservancy will present "A Christmas Carol", A-Radio-Play-Style Dramatic Reading with Broadway stars Paul Hecht and Cynthia Darlow on Friday at 8pm in the OPS Auditorium. Tickets can be ordered here.
"The Nutcracker" will be presented by Ballet Arts Company of NJ on Friday, at 7pm and Saturday at 2pm, RDMS Auditorium. Tickets are $15 at the door.
KIDS CHRISTMAS NJ and the Rotary Club invite you to an evening of helping those less fortunate while enjoying the holiday season on Saturday 8pm to 12am at the Blauvelt Mansion. Tickets are $70 at the door.
