Special Needs Preschool, Aftercare, Social Skills Groups in River Edge NJ

Heart to Heart & Associates is proud to announce the opening of our Preschool, Aftercare and Social Skills Groups at Grace Lutheran Church in River Edge NJ! 

We are a collaborative practice devoted to providing an appropriate and individualized program specifically designed for each child's goals based on the latest research in ABA and autism treatment. 

Our fully licensed after school program is for special needs children or children who have moderate learning delays in more than one area of development. Children will be able to receive at the following therapies, at an additional cost, by certified staff while at aftercare: ABA, Speech, OT and PT. 

Our Social Skills Groups provide children with autism spectrum disorders the opportunity to learn essential social skills in a group context. Small group learning with age-matched peers allows children to practice skills such as initiating and maintaining a conversation, negotiating winning and losing, cooperating with differences of opinions, and learning through observation.

Our fully licensed preschool program is for children ages 3-5 who may not have a diagnosis yet, but clearly have moderate learning delays in more than one area of development.

 Our classroom instruction includes sensory-based activities along with age and developmentally appropriate education lesson. Each student has an individual Education Plan (IEP) from which all lessons and activities are based and in line with Core Curriculum Content Standards.  Our curriculum focuses on increasing communication and independence while fostering creativity and a sense of curiosity.
