Silvana D. Raso Recognized as One of NJBIZ’s Best 50 Women in Business
Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey (February 4, 2014) – Silvana D. Raso, Managing Partner at Schepisi & McLaughlin, P.A., has been named one of New Jersey’s “Best 50 Women in Business,” by NJBIZ, New Jersey’s premier business news publication.
The “Best 50 Women in Business” awards program honors the state’s most dynamic women in business who have been making headlines in their field. This year’s top 50 women were selected by an independent panel of judges, based on their dedication to business growth, professional and personal accomplishments, and community involvement.

“This recognition from the broader New Jersey business community is an honor,” said Ms. Raso. “I believe women can use their skills to not only build their businesses but to contribute to their communities. I‘m grateful for the support that I’ve received from others in my profession, both men and women, who’ve enabled and encouraged me to do so.”
Ms. Raso heads the firm’s family law practice, a firm she started working at over twenty years ago, where she counsels clients in all phases of matrimonial law including divorce, custody and visitation issues, domestic violence matters, prenuptial agreements, as well as post-judgment and appellate matters. Ms. Raso has used her experience to help members of her community by volunteering her time representing victims of domestic violence and by serving as a Court Appointed Special Advocate advocating for neglected and abused children in the foster care system.

The NJBIZ “50 Best Women in Business” Awards program will take place on March 24, 2014, at the Palace at Somerset Park in Somerset, New Jersey.
