Holiday Menu Returns to Art of Cake

Local business will now take online orders for Thanksgiving

With just a week until Thanksgiving, residents can place an online order with Art of Cake owner Tammy Dunwoody for a Thanksgiving dessert. Orders may also be placed in person or by telephone (201-483-9176), but should be made soon as the final day for pick-up is Nov. 21.

Dunwoody's holiday menu includes classics such as apple and pumpkin pies, a raspberry linzer torte, three varieties of cheesecake, five different cakes, butter cookies, a mini pastry or cupcake tray, and individual pastries.

New to this year's menu are gluten-free layer cakes (Vanilla, Chocolate and Carrot Cake) and cookies (Old Fashioned Chocolate Chip, Sugar Cookies, Almond Crescent, Chocolate Crinkle, Oatmeal Raisin, and Oatmeal Chocolate Chip).

"These beautiful and delicious cakes are filled and decorated just like our regular cakes but they are made from a flour blend that is gluten-free," Dunwoody said. "Your guests and friends will never know the difference!"

Due to popular demand, the Art of Cake has brought back their walk-in storefront retail for last minute pick-up of cupcakes, individual pastry and cookies, from Tuesday through Saturday, 9am to 5pm. Cakes must be pre-ordered and can be picked up seven days a week.
