Bergen County Holds HealthEASE Wellness Fair for Seniors
Bergen County is hosting free health screenings for adults age 60+.
Bergen County Executive Kathleen Donovan, the Board of Chosen Freeholders and the Division of Senior Services invite all county senior adults to attend the HealthEASE Senior Wellness Fair Wednesday, Oct. 2, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Garfield Senior Activity Center, 480 Midland Avenue, Garfield.
The event will feature FREE health screenings for seniors age 60 and above that include blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol, foot, hearing, vision and much more. Free blood chemistry analysis with CRP & Alc is also available, but limited to the first 50 registrants from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. The analysis requires a 12 hour fast and pre-registration by calling 201-336-7437.
Hand massage and aromatherapy are also featured, along with information and assistance on the many services and programs available to Bergen County’s older adults.
