Thursday in River Edge, Oradell: Concert in the Park, Library Programs

The band Twisted Charm will be performing at Oradell's Memorial Field tonight from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. as part of the Borough's Concerts in the Park series. The concert is free and open to the public.

With its female lead singer, Twisted Charm easily moves between current dance pop hits to heavier classic rock favorites. The band’s music appeals to both 20's and 40's alike. The band promises to get people out of their seats for a night they will never forget.

Oradell Memorial Field is located at 350 Prospect Ave, Oradell.

The River Edge Public Library is hosting "Diggin' into Fossils" for children ages 7 to 11, from 2 p.m. to 3:15 p.m today. Science meets art in this hands-on special event. Children will get a chance to become junior archaeologists as they create fossil rubbings, dig through sand to uncover dinosaur bones and create a fossil impression out of clay.
Contact library to register for this program at 201-261-1663.
