The always fabulous Ridgewood Sidewalk Sale takes center stage on Saturday. Find extra bargains from all your favorite stores. Our pick? Fox's. With its steeply discounted designer prices on clothing, shoes and jewelry, this newly expanded store is the jewel in Ridgewood's designer crown and the secret of Bergen County women from Oakland to Edgewater. Despite their regular daily bargains, there's sure to be more discounts on display during the sidewalk sale.

Dumont's Farmers Market is open for business every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. now through the fall. You'll find a variety of local and homegrown fruits and vegetables, meats, poultry, Brooklyn Breads, fresh pastas, and more. The market is located at Sorisis Park, Park Avenue, Dumont.

The Palisades Interstate Park is hosting a Children's Hike to the Mansion Ruins. This guided hike for children with Christina Fehre meets at 2 p.m. at Park Headquarters in Alpine. Alpine Learning Group is hosting an garage sale from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 830 Linwood Avenue, Paramus on both Saturday and Sunday.

The Bergen County Players are performing the comedy Boeing Boeing at 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. The Bergen County Players perform in the Little Firehouse Theater, 298 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell.

Walk Now for Autism Speaks will be holding its annual walk Sunday at Bergen Community College, 400 Paramus Road, Paramus.

The Bergen County Historical Society is hosting Pinkerfest: A Colonial Celebration of Spring Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Historic New Bridge Landing in River Edge.

Children may participate in an historical scavenger hunt and drill with the Outwater's Militia, an American Revolutionary War reenactment group.

For visitors of every age, there will be tours of the Demarest House, with its display of Jersey Dutch furnishings, and colonial cooking demonstrations in the Out-Kitchen throughout the day. Pinkster cake, doughnuts, strawberries and cream, and lemonade will be served in the restored eighteenth-century tavern in the Campbell-Christie House.

18th Century Garden Discussion / Tour is scheduled for the Campbell-Christie House garden.

Historic New Bridge Landing is located at 1201-1209 Main Street, River Edge.

It's Nature Day at Flat Rock Brook Nature Center in Englewood from noon to 4 p.m.  There will be canoe rides, nature discovery centers, scavenger hunts, activities and more. Flat Rock Brook Nature Center is located at 443 Van Nostrand Avenue, Englewood.

The 5th Annual Hasbrouck Heights Street Fair is taking place all day Sunday on Boulevard in downtown Hasbrouck Heights. There will be vendors, food, music and more.

The Palisade Interstate Park Commission is offering a free hike--"The Giant Stairs" guided hike with the Trail Crew, for experienced hikers only.
