River Edge Celebrates Family Day 2012
Residents turned out for the annual event in Veteran's Memorial Park
This past Sunday, River Edge residents flocked to Veteran's Memorial Park for the annual River Edge Day.
Prior to the afternoon celebration of River Edge, the Green Team sponsored the Bergen Utilities Authorities shredder truck. Additional highlights of this year's event include: "Make your Own Sundae" sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, hot dogs and drinks for sale by Boy Scout Troop 184, face painting sponsored by Anita DaSilva State Farm, a chili cook-off sponsored by the River Edge Education Foundation and a pumpkin pie contest by the Junior Women's Club of River Edge.
Several local businesses and organizations also attended.
