Oradell Rotarians Annual Food Drive Set for Saturday

Volunteers will be on hand at Volk Leber Funeral Home to collect items for the Center for Food Action

Each year members of the Oradell-Emerson Rotary Club organize a food drive to benefit local families and the Center for Food Action. Their latest collection will take place outside of the Volk Leber Funeral Home on Kinderkamack Road on Saturday, 10am to 2pm.

The turkey and frozen soup drive items will be delivered by Rotary members to the Center for Food Action, which in turn will be distributed to local Bergen County residents in need.

Some of the most needed items include supermarket gift cards, canned meat, tuna and chicken, canned soup, canned vegetables, macaroni and cheese, peanut butter and jelly, boxes of cereal, dry milk, canned fruit, instant potatoes, 100% juice, dental hygiene products and soap, baby formula and diapers (sizes 4, 5 and 6).
