Halloween Fun in the 'Dell Starts Tonight

Tons of frightening fun for the kids in River Dell this Halloween

Halloween is just a few days away and hopefully your little ghouls, monsters and pirates have their costume ready (and don't forget to take part in our ).

To help you coordinate some of the best places to show off your costumes this weekend, Patch put together a list of the upcoming River Edge and Oradell events.

Friday

The eighth grade students at have their annual Halloween dance tonight.

has its Spooktacular in the school gymnasium, 7 to 10pm. This year’s Spooktacular will include a Haunted Stage, Ripley's Believe It or Not, a Bounce House, Trick or Treating, Dancing with DJ Arnie, games and prizes and refreshments.

The River Edge school PTO sponsored Halloween Party will be held in the media room from 6:30 to 9pm. While the Monster Mash will be in the gymnasium, 6:30 to 9pm.

The will once again sponsor the Halloween Dance Party for Oradell children on Friday, from 6:30 to 7:30pm for Pre-K and kindergarteun students, and from 7:30 to 9pm for Grades 1-4 in the Multi-Purpose Room.

Sunday

The Commission is sponsoring a Halloween Parade for all ages in on Sunday at 3pm. 

Parade line up is at the Webb Avenue Cul de Sac starting at 2:45pm. Treats will be handed out - (please bring your container). Tricks will be handled by our Magic Show Performer under the pavilion following the parade.  

Announcements of the River Edge Girl Scouts Scare Crow Contest winners will be immediately after the show. Refreshments served by the Recreation Commission.

Monday

Students at the l will parade around the building in their best costumes. At 1pm, parents can watch the 's students parade in their Halloween costumes.

The Halloween Parade is at 1:10pm, while the parade begins at 1:15pm. students have their parade at 2pm on the Cherry Hill field (rain location is the Cherry Hill gym).

students have their parade at 1:15pm on Memorial Field. In case of rain, no parade will be held. Instead students will celebrate in their individual classrooms.
