St. Peter Academy, the co-sponsored school of St. Peter the Apostle Parish in River Edge and Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish in Maywood, recently held its annual May Procession and May Crowning. Students, teachers, administrators, and parents took part in a service that included prayers and singing of hymns honoring Mary. As part of the ceremony, second-grade students presented a crown of flowers, which was placed atop the statue of the Blessed Mother on the school campus.
