River Dell Regional Students Receive Honorable Mentions in Montclair Film Festival

Two groups of students recognized in the Kidz Shortz Filmmaking Competition.

Two groups of River Dell Regional High School students received Honorable Mentions in this year's Montclair Film Festival Kidz Shortz Filmmaking Competition.

Jenna Davidson, Michaela Byrne and Juliette DeTitta submitted a film entitled Futuristic Education, and Caleb Herbst, Mikey Totera, Dan Doran and Soon Kwon entered a film called The Montclair Project. Both groups competed in the Visionaries Grades 10-12 School small group category.

More than 60 films by young filmmakers from across the country were entered into the juried Kidz Shortz competition inspired by this year’s theme, "The Future: The Way I See It." Winners receive free digital filmmaking classes at the Montclair Art Museum and their works will be shown during the upcoming Montclair Film Festival, April 28-May 4.
