Free Jewish High Holiday Tickets

Jewish families who are new to the area can find a home for the High Holidays with the help of the EZ Key program offered by the Synagogue Leadership Initiative of the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey (JFNNJ).

Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are barely a month away, so reservations are already underway for people who want to attend High Holiday services for free. Tickets are available at more than 30 synagogues representing all streams of Judaism—Conservative, Independent, Orthodox, Reconstructionist, and Reform.

“The High Holidays are a time when all Jews want to connect to the community, and for the third year, the Synagogue Leadership Initiative’s EZ Key Program will help new members of the northern New Jersey community do just that," said Lisa Harris Glass, Director of JFNNJ’s Synagogue Leadership Initiative and Jewish Education Services.

This year, Rosh Hashanah begins at sundown on September 4, and Yom Kippur begins at sundown on September 13.

Because the High Holidays begin right after Labor Day this year, Glass is encouraging participants to sign up by August 23 so that their requests can be honored. “So before you go on your last summer fling, be sure to sign up for High Holiday tickets today,” she said.

The offer for free tickets is a one-time offer per individual or family and expires on August 31 to reserve your tickets.

Families who have lived in the area two years or less can visit the EZ Key website at www.jfnnj.org/holidaytickets and fill out a form to receive tickets.
