College Level Courses Offered to Seniors given in Paramus

Senior Citizens interested in taking low-cost courses in a relaxed environment, without tests or grades, are invited to enroll in the Institute of New Dimensions classes, beginning January 8th and continuing though February 7th.
IND continues its 26th year of daytime education this fall. Twenty courses, taught by experts in their fields, will cover such diverse subjects as music,drama,history, opera, art, science, and controversial issues.
Each lecture is 1 1/2 hours. Students may enroll in as many courses as they wish. There is a $5.00 fee per lecture and a $5.00 registration fee.
IND, run entirely by volunteers, supports the belief that intellectual stimulation in a friendly environment fosters a healthy senior population. The program is open to all persons 50 or older.
Tuesday and Thursday classes are given at the Central Unitarian Church on Forest Avenue in Paramus. The location has convenient, free, on-site parking.
Teachers in the program are distinguished experts willing to share their expertise with seniors who are eager to renew or extend their own education. This semester's instructors include current and retired faculty from area universities and colleges, several attorneys and psychologists.

More About Central Unitarian Church
The Central Unitarian Church takes part in many social justice activities, including fundraising for local charities and working with area homeless shelters and food banks. For the church's children, there is a religious education program for those in pre-k through 10th grade. Following every worship service, worshippers can stay for coffee hour.
