Now in its ni nth year\, Art Connections has grown from a regional exhibit to one of n ational scope\, encouraging artists in all mediums. \;\nWe are invit ing artists to apply to this exhibit\, which offers an excellent opportu nity for exposure and sales in a venue that is widely supported by Montc lair State University's alumni\, gallery patrons\, and the area's many c ollectors\, curators\, and art dealers.\nPast exhibits have included wor ks by many noted artists: ceramist Toshiko Takaeshu\, painters Julie Hef fernan\, Michael Eade\, Bisa Washington\, Ben Jones\, and Cora Cohen\, a nd sculptors Willie Cole\, Chakaia Booker\, and Tom Nussbaum. \;\nPr oceeds from this event support exhibitions at the George Segal Gallery a nd care of the University's permanent collection.
