DESCRIPTION:The Bergen County Utilities Authority (BCUA) will be hosting 
 a computer (e-waste)\, tire recycling\, and personal document shredding 
 event on Saturday\,August 18th at the Bergen County Community Services B
 uilding\, located at 327 East RidgewoodAve.\, Paramus\, between the hour
 s of 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.\nThe BCUA will be accepting personalconfidentia
 l documents for onsite shredding from Bergen County residents. The BCUA 
 will also be collecting computer\, electronic equipment and old tires fo
 r recycling.\nPrivacy experts often recommend that individuals shred fil
 es\, tax documents\, credit cards andbank statements\, and other items w
 hich could be used to commit identity theft. Residents will be able to o
 bserve their documents being shredded on-site. Acceptable documents are 
 limited to confidential and sensitive materials only. Non-confidential m
 aterials\, such as books\, magazines\, newspapers\, etc.\, should be rec
 ycled through your local municipal recycling program and will not be acc
 epted at this event.\nIt is not necessary to remove paper clips\, staple
 s or paperboard bindercovers. In an effort to accommodate all those wish
 ing to participate\, there is a limit of 4 bags orboxes of documents wei
 ghing no more than 10 lbs. each.\nAcceptable electronic equipment includ
 es computers\, monitors\, printers\, circuit boards\, speakers\, modems\
 , mother boards\, power supplies\, photocopiers\, fax machines\, televis
 ions\, VCRs and DVD players\, stereo equipment\, and cellular phones.\nR
 esidents will be limited to the recycling of four tires per person. Tire
 s will be accepted with or without metal rims.\nThese recycling services
  are free and available to Bergen County residents only. Proof of reside
 ncy is required to participate. No material from businesses will be acce
